Ophthalmologist and Coordinator of the Portuguese Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Group, Dr. Ana Vide-Escada, was invited by Beira Baixa TV to comment on a clinical case of an adult patient with blindness associated with Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP)—a condition that is one of the leading causes of low vision and blindness linked to prematurity.
