The 20th edition of the EVRS - European VitreoRetinal Society took place in Capadocia (Turkey) at the beginning of September. The main theme was "Combined Retinal Surgeries and Advances in Medical Retina and Imaging" and Portugal was present through several ophthalmologists, namely Bernardete Pessoa, Angelina Meireles and Susana Teixeira who were guest speakers. Also noteworthy was the prize awarded to Gil Calvão, author of the 3rd best retina surgery video. On the website you can find out more about the work presented over the four days of the event.
