Professor Cunha-Vaz - Helen Keller Prize for Vision Research

We are delighted to announce that the prestigious Helen Keller Prize for Vision Research, in partnership with the BrightFocus Foundation, will be awarded in its 2024 edition to Professor Cunha-Vaz.

The award is given in recognition of excellence in research demonstrated by a significant body of contributions to vision science throughout his career.

The award will be presented at a ceremony next May at ARVO 2024 in Seattle.

This recognition is a source of pride for the Portuguese Society of Ophthalmology and for national ophthalmology.
